Qualifications:
- Previous outside sales experience in the collision repair industry with a proven track record of success
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong problem-solving skills required
- Post-secondary education an asset

- Must be a self-starter
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while developing new business
- Regular visits to existing customers to optimize on-hand inventory of paint and allied products
- Introduce new products and processes to existing accounts via joint sales calls with manufacturer and supplier reps
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a timely fashion
- Meet sales targets and objectives

Hybrid Driver / Warehouse Associate – Ottawa
Job description:
Consolidated Dealers is looking for a Hybrid Delivery Route Truck Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation of Dangerous Goods (we will provide training for this) as well as a Warehouse Associate, working in the warehouse. The position is Monday to Friday starting between 8am – 5pm.
Task Specific Skills:
- Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders from warehouse shelves. The candidate will also be trained to assist in receiving and other operational duties.
- The transportation of customer orders daily based on the assigned route. Routes are rotated amongst the Team members on a weekly basis.
- Delivering customer orders daily. This consists of daily loading and unloading of customer orders. Planning travel schedules. Use routing application and GPS navigation and other trip planning aids.
Essential Skills:
- G license with a clean driver’s abstract (no major infractions).
- Experience delivering customer orders.
- Reading, numeracy, oral communication and attention to details.
- Handling items up to 50lbs (23kg).
Additional Skills:
- Experience driving a straight truck.
- Experience driving a Hino with a 16” box.
- Experience transporting dangerous goods.
- Experience using a reach truck, gas powered forklift and walkie.
- Customer service driven.
Training Provided:
- Transportation and handling of dangerous goods (accounts for 20% of items).

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, problem-solving, and operational coordination.
The Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Operations Team responsible for supporting order processing, customer service, e-commerce coordination, purchasing activities, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
The successful candidate will be part of a national Operations Coordinator team across our Woodbridge, Ottawa, and Edmonton locations. Coordinators collaborate daily to share best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and support each other during high-volume periods. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and building solutions that benefit the whole organization.
1. Order Desk & E-Commerce Coordination
- Respond to phone calls and emails from customers, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and courteous manner
- Process incoming orders through the ERP system (phone-in, email, and e-commerce)
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy before submitting to the warehouse
- Coordinate backorders and vendor ETAs with the Purchasing Team
- Provide clear updates to customers regarding order status, product availability, and estimated delivery timelines
Expectations for Order Desk Success
- Comfortable managing a mix of quiet periods and high-volume bursts of calls/emails throughout the day
- Able to handle customer complaints tactfully and problem-solve without escalating conflict
- Confidence in navigating unrealistic or urgent requests by providing clear, professional alternatives
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy when workload is interrupted or priorities shift
2. Cross-Functional Support
Work collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer experience.
Purchasing Collaboration
- Assist the Purchasing Team in submitting purchase requests to approved vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and flag low-stock or discontinued items
- Assist with fast-moving / slow-moving product reports and SKU performance metrics
- Share customer feedback and recurring product requests to support strategic purchasing decisions
Warehouse Operations Collaboration
- Communicate special order instructions and delivery expectations to the warehouse
- Prioritize urgent orders and ensure information is complete before reaching the warehouse
- Assist in operational analysis relating to product movement, order volume, and returns patterns
Accounting Collaboration
- Submit supplier invoices for processing and review discrepancies
- Support reconciliation of order, shipping, and invoicing data
- Pull transactional and pricing reports when required
Sales Team Collaboration & Customer Insights
- Share insights on changes in customer purchasing patterns, seasonal trends, and recurring product requests
- Support targeted outreach by identifying customers who may benefit from specific product lines
- During customer calls, take opportunities (without pressure) to:
• Suggest relevant or complementary products
• Offer free samples when suitable
• Flag opportunities for the Sales Team to follow up
3. Innovation, SOP Development & Analytics (National Operations Coordinator Team)
- Contribute to building and updating SOPs, training documents, and workflow guides
- Assist in ERP sandbox testing when new features or modules are introduced
- Document process feedback and identify improvement opportunities based on recurring issues
- Support operational analytics including reporting, trend identification, and root-cause analysis
- Participate in or lead lunch & learn knowledge-sharing sessions between warehouse locations
- Use AI tools (training provided) for market research, reporting, product comparisons, and operational insights
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, order desk, operations, logistics, administrative coordination, or similar roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling inbound/outbound customer phone calls, including occasional complaints
- ERP, CRM and WMS experience is an asset (training provided)
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters, etc.) (training provided)
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize when multiple requests come in simultaneously
- Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and willingness to ask questions and learn
Work Hours
Monday to Friday — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
